A John Deere for a dear little boy {John Deere 3D Tractor Cake}

I was trying out a few new techniques on this cute cake for Brice's 2nd birthday. This one was tons of fun... If only I had more chances to make little boy cakes!!

Cute as a button {Baby Sailboat Onesie Cake with Buttons}

Now this shower cake was fun to do!! The border is all individual fondant buttons and the onesie is made of fondant as well.

Pretty in Pink {Baby Girl Shower Cake with Flowers and Dots}

This sweet cake was for a babyshower for my friend's sister. Girls are my specialty so this one was a breeze!

After midnight... {Cinderella and Pumpkin Carriage Cake}

Our good friend Ava has a Halloween birthday (or close enough at least to throw a Halloween-themed party). Since most 5 year old little girls ADORE princesses you can hardly have a birthday cake without one. Ava's mom, Shelley, found this great idea for her cake. Cinderella, just after midnight... Halloween and princesses all rolled into one great cake.

Rubber duckie... {Sesame Street Ernie Cake}

How can you not sing that song when you see cute Ernie! This one was a fun cake to make as well, a wish finally granted for a good friend of ours who never got the Ernie cake she always wanted as a child. Happy 24th, Nikki!! (Ernie's hair troubled me for a while, but I finally ended up finding black licorice that worked perfectly.)

Something's fishy... {Nemo Fish Bowl Cake}

This was my first attempt at a "3-D" cake. My baby girl adores Nemo, so I made this fishbowl for her 2nd birthday, which happened to be a slip-n-slide water party in the backyard. Water water everywhere...
